About this course

The Emergency Warden Training course has been developed by the University's Infrastructure Services and Development area in collaboration with the University College, to enable participants to perform the roles and responsibilities of the Emergency Warden function across the University.   The University recognises the importance of these emergency management functions and how they contribute to the health and safety of our University community.

This course has been developed to best equip these function holders with the necessary tools and knowledge to fulfil the Emergency Warden role and responsibilities across the Institution throughout the year(s).

Who should do this course?

The University of Tasmania has an embedded network of emergency warden's fulfilling their warden responsibilities across multiple campuses.  Staff identified to fulfil these functions are required to build their knowledge and capability across a range of emergency management procedures and protocols as well as maintain their knowledge of contemporary practices.
